Admissions
Our dedicated admissions department is available for same day rapid screening for new referrals.
What to Expect
We recognize the urgency our clients face as they work to begin a treatment program. Our dedicated admissions department is available for same–day Rapid Screens for new referrals. We do everything possible to minimize the time between a referral and admission. Additionally, we maintain a current resource for matching all referrals with appropriate resources.

Check In
When you arrive, present yourself to the person at the front desk. Be prepared with identification and insurance information. You will then be asked to fill out some basic demographic forms and consents for the rapid screening.

Meet Assessor
Our addiction–trained assessor will facilitate bringing you to their office and introduce you to anyone that may be present. We want to welcome you to your new way of life and transformation. Then the rapid screen will be conducted.
The assessor will ask you questions about your motivation for seeking help, when your last drug use was, how long you have been battling addiction, and any medical conditions that might affect your treatment.

Discuss Treatment Options
The assessor will discuss your outpatient treatment options or referral to an appropriate level of care, based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). The ASAM criteria used at Alchemy takes into account various factors, including the severity of addiction, physical and mental health conditions, and the individual’s social support system. It assesses six dimensions that contribute to a person’s addiction treatment needs.
ASAM Levels of Care that Alchemy Addiction Recovery offers:
Level 2
- Intensive Outpatient (IOP) ASAM 2.1
- Medically Managed Intensive Outpatient (Outpatient Detox) ASAM 2.7
Level 1
- Long Term Remission Monitoring (Aftercare) ASAM 1.0
- Outpatient Therapy ASAM 1.5
- Medically Managed Outpatient ASAM 1.7

Admission
Once the ASAM level of care has been determined and a diagnosis made, you will sign consents and admissions documents. Now you are prepared to begin your journey of transformation. You will be introduced to all of the staff involved in your treatment. Other recovering peers on the same journey of transformation will meet you. Then you will be seen by our nursing, medical, and counseling staff for evaluation and intervention. A plan of care will be developed and implemented after the evaluations are conducted. You will be given a schedule of appointments to follow and integrate into your action plan for recovery.

Follow-up
Our caring staff will follow up with you and contact you to remind you of your appointments with all of our professional staff. It is our expectation that you will ask for help, show up when expected, and do what is asked of you. Your success in transforming from addiction to recovery is everyone’s primary purpose.
