Detox and Withdrawal Management

An outpatient program for individuals requiring detoxification from substances with many of the benefits of inpatient detoxification but in a less-restrictive, cost-effective environment.

This Integrated Withdrawal/Detox Management outpatient program combines Alchemy Addiction’s IOP with medically supervised detoxification and mood stabilization. This is facilitated by nurses and physicians. Our doctors are fellowship trained and Board Certified Physicians that specialize in the treatment of addiction. Individuals requiring detoxification from substances and brain stabilization have access to many of the benefits of inpatient detoxification but in a less-restrictive, cost-effective environment. Alchemy Addiction’s specialized service is provided at our locations near you, Arabi, Metairie, and Slidell.

Once admitted to this level of care the client is seen by a nurse and physician who assesses and treats them with withdrawal prevention/detox and mood/brain stabilizing medications. They are routinely monitored by our medical professionals as indicated by their specific withdrawal prevention/detox or mood/brain stabilization needs. Our medical staff is equip to address co- occurring psychiatric diagnosis. Patients can start to heal from the comfort of their own home. The integration into Alchemy Addiction’s IOP program also begins concurrently.

The intent and design of this type of treatment are to create “The Alchemy of Addiction Treatment”- the transformation from active addiction, into stabilized integration and participation in our IOP program. Alchemy Addiction’s integrated program has two major components, 1) An industry leading Outpatient medically supervised Integrated Withdrawal/Detox Management and Brain Stabilization Program and 2) Alchemy Addiction’s Intensive Outpatient Program.

Alchemy’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is Integrated with Withdrawal Management

This program enables a client in the early stages of recovery to establish a foundation for long-term recovery and transformation with a 8-14 week program based on an individualized treatment plan. Alchemy Addiction Recovery IOP consists of treatment with professionally licensed therapists, a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, professionally facilitated group sessions, Individual and Family sessions, Random Urine Drug Screens, Complete Blood/Medical Workup, an integrated evaluation and/or treatment with a Psychiatric Addiction Doctor and one year of professionally facilitated and medically supervised weekly Aftercare.
